Meet Sisomphone Bounrangsy…
What’s your role at PEMCO? How long have you worked at PEMCO?
I’m an Avionics Lead supporting all project lines and work to coordinate workloads.
What interest you / how did you get started in aviation?
I got my start in aviation 18 years ago and I have been with PEMCO since 2012 starting as an Avionics Technician.
To be honest this career was chosen for me but it is has been a great 18 years.
What’s your favorite vacation or travel spot?
All vacations are my favorite but the one that really sticks out was going back to Laos after 30 years.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Do you remember your first flight?
My first flight was to St. Petersburg from Laos when I was 6 years old. That was in 1986.
What do you like to do outside of work?
My favorite time is family time with my kids. We like to fish and play soccer.
What does Lean mean to you?
Lean has helped us get more organized and efficient.
What would you tell others interested in working at PEMCO; interested in aviation?
Aviation is not only fixing airplanes. The opportunities are endless for everyone.
