What’s your role at AIRBORNE Tampa?
"Engineering Project Coordinator. I facilitate the conversion process to ensure all Engineering work is prioritized, controlled and completed in accordance with the timelines set by upper management for all active conversions and STC projects."
How long have you worked at AIRBORNE Tampa?
"I started with Engineering as configuration manager assistant in 2010 at the Dothan, AL facility, then came to Tampa in 2013 at my current position. I love the Tampa area!"
What interested you / how did you get started in aviation?
"I knew several people that worked at the Dothan facility which helped me get my foot in the door. I love the fast pace of Aviation and this company; there is always something interesting going on and that keeps me on my toes."
Do you remember your first flight? Tell us about it…
"It was horrible lol I was attempting to fly from Atlanta to Colorado by myself in 2005. There were several snow storms going on in Colorado at the time so my flights got rescheduled multiple times and I had to find a hotel close to the Atlanta airport to stay at overnight. It was just quite stressful and overwhelming for a first timer, but I made it!"
What’s your favorite vacation or travel spot?
"Anything beach related."
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
"To read people’s minds, though I would probably instantly regret it."
What did you want to be when you grew up?
"A fashion designer."
What do you like to do outside of work (hobbies, etc.)?
"Spend time with family and friends, painting, Pilates."
What would you tell others interested in working at AIRBORNE TAMPA; interested in aviation?
"This is a great company and the industry is always exciting; there is always something new to learn."
