"Quality Control"

How long have you worked at AIRBORNE Tampa?
"October 2024 will be 3 years I am with Airborne Tampa, I came to Tampa from Hawaii as a contractor before going direct. Within nine months I applied for and was entrusted with the lead mechanic position."

What interested you / how did you get started in aviation?
"My love and passion for aviation goes way back over 40 yrs ago looking out my front door in Queens NY watching the Concorde take off from JFK!"

Do you remember your first flight? Tell us about it…
"I believe my first flight was actually right here to Florida as a kid going to Disney World with my parents."

What’s your favorite vacation or travel spot?
"For the moment I have to say Costa Rica."

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
"That's easy...I WOULD FLY BABY!"

What did you want to be when you grew up?
"Exactly what I am now. One who is improving and growing in this wonderful world of aviation."

What do you like to do outside of work (hobbies, etc.)?
"I fly drones and spend many hours working on my farm."

What would you tell others interested in working at AIRBORNE TAMPA; interested in aviation?
"Just as I would tell my students when I was an A&P  instructor at Aviation Institute of Maintenance... In this business you gotta be in it to win at it, sometimes you have to step on a few clouds to reach the stars. "
