Mentor (Internal Applicants Only) – Dept: Production – Apply

Airborne Tampa Mentors are responsible for the continued aircraft maintenance and repair skills progression of assigned Aircraft Mechanic Mentee(s). The Mentor performs their regular aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or modification on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data, customer maintenance program requirements, within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and customer standards of quality. While performing those tasks, the Mentor will also support the skills development process with assigned Mentee(s) by exposing them to the assignments, coaching (not doing it for) them, if applicable, signing off on the Mentee’s completed work and maintaining the Mentee’s OJT document log. Mentors Return to Service the work performed by the Mentee on the appropriate documents. Mentors lead by example (safe & compliant) to assist in the development of the Mentee in the craft of aircraft maintenance and repair. During the mentorship, the Mentor will provide input and feedback to the Mentee; along with provide written evaluations every 30 days. Upon completion of the 250 hour Mentorship Program, Mentors will provide their recommendation as to whether a Mentee is eligible to be hired as a Regular Full Time Employee.


Production Supervisor – Dept: Production Support – Apply

This position is responsible for the effectiveness and economical management of resources to ensure the work is accomplished in accordance with customer maintenance programs, FAA regulations, administrative and technical requirements of those assigned under the Supervisor’s span of control. The Production Supervisor duties may be delegated to a qualified individual in his absence but ultimate responsibility for those duties remains with the Production Supervisor.


Lead Structures Mechanic – Dept: Production – Apply

Any employee designated as Lead Mechanic by PEMCO shall perform work as a Structures Mechanic for a major portion of the time and assume responsibility for the satisfactory completion and quality of all job assignments. In addition, he shall be required to lead, assign work to, and direct the work of other employees in a given classification and/or a specialized job or operation.
This position is responsible for fabricating, repairing, replacing, or rebuilding aircraft structures, repair parts, and special tools, in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the company, applicable government agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.


Lead Interior Mechanic – Dept: Production – Apply

Any employee designated as Lead Mechanic by PEMCO shall perform work as an Interior Mechanic for a major portion of the time and assume responsibility for the satisfactory completion and quality of all job assignments. In addition, he shall be required to lead, assign work to, and direct the work of other employees in a given classification and/or a specialized job or operation.
Services troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, preserves, maintains, and overhauls aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the company, applicable government agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.


Aircraft (A&P) Mechanic – Dept: Production – Apply

This position services troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, preserves, maintains, and overhauls aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the company, applicable government agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.


Avionics Technician- Dept: Production – Apply

Any employee designated as Lead Mechanic by PEMCO shall perform work as an Interior Mechanic for a major portion of the time and assume responsibility for the satisfactory completion and This position performs trouble-shooting, operational testing, modification, and repair of components of aircraft instrument, electrical, and electronic systems in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the company, applicable government agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.


Interior Mechanic – Dept: Production – Apply

This position services troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, preserves, maintains, and overhauls aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the company, applicable government agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals


Structures/Sheet Metal Mechanic- Dept: Production – Apply

This position is responsible for fabricating, repairing, replacing, or rebuilding aircraft structures, repair parts, and special tools, in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the company, applicable government agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.


Quality Control Inspector – Dept: Production – Apply

This position is responsible for the final quality of aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the Company, applicable Government Agencies, and aircraft manuals as contained the approved Maintenance Manuals. This position also performs inspections duties, both functional and operational, on incoming and outgoing fixed wing aircraft. Ascertains completion of aircraft and records and presents same to the customer. Capable of examining all aircraft forms and records for compliance to applicable specifications, AD’s, SB’s, etc., and post appropriate entries to the aircraft historical records as required. Inspects the final operation of all completed work including, components, systems, communications navigation, mechanical, and structural. Limited NDT, certifies, serviceability of aircraft tooling and test equipment. This position will also inspect assigned Company areas for regulatory compliance.


Lead Quality Control Inspector – Dept: Production – Apply

Inspector for a major portion of the time and assume responsibility for the satisfactory completion and quality of all job assignments. In addition, he shall be required to lead, assign work to, and direct the work of other employees in a given classification and/or a specialized job or operation.
This position is responsible for the final quality of aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the Company, applicable Government Agencies, and aircraft manuals as contained the approved Maintenance Manuals. Machinist – Dept: Production/Back Shops – Apply

This position is responsible for fabricating aircraft repair parts and tools. Sets up and operates all machine shop and tool room machines in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, specifications established by the Company, applicable government agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.


Contract Specialist – Dept: Sales/Marketing – Apply

This position will prepare and monitor contractual agreements and associated documents related to the sale of aircraft maintenance, component repair and manufacturing, engineering services, spare parts sales and other related activities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Confer with Sales and Product Line Directors and coordinate appropriate actions with Director of Contracts and other senior management members or legal counsel as required. Establish and implement protocols to manage internal checks/balances, review/approval processes and deadlines for completion of documents to satisfy customer requirements. As directed, act as liaison between sales, management and customers during the contract negotiation process.


Lead Storekeeper – Dept: Material Resources – Apply

This position is reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing the 2nd/3rd shift operation of Supply storerooms. This position will also include receiving, shipping, packaging, inspection, safeguarding, issue, preserving for storage and transferring of stock to include tools, parts, raw materials, assemblies, instruments, equipment, and other supplies in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the Company, applicable Government Agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.
